After four decades, we say farewell to the Olympic Island Restaurant.
Since 1985, the Burke family has been proud to serve this community, welcoming familiar faces year after year and watching generations of families grow around our tables. What began as a restaurant became a place of connection, tradition, and shared moments that will never be forgotten.
As one chapter closes, another begins. The Olympic Island Restaurant will transition from the Burke family to the Sakovlas family and will reopen as Sak’s Pancake House and Grille, continuing as a local, family-owned business rooted in the same community values.
At the same time, the Burke family’s story in hospitality carries on. The youngest of the family will continue a tradition of over 100 years in the food industry with a new food trailer, PARM, operating in Wildwood Crest and throughout Cape May County.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported us along the way. The memories and relationships built here will always remain. Thank you for an unforgettable 40 years.
