Two Years of Another Broken Egg Café 🎉

We were nervous when we started this journey — we were two guys fresh out of college who had never worked in a restaurant before. We had no clue what to expect but trusted that we could figure it out.

Two years in and I think it’s fair to say Wichita loves Another Broken Egg Café.

The results speak for themselves:

We couldn’t do this without our incredible team.

One thing we’ve really tried to prioritize this year is the difference between service and hospitality.

Service is the baseline.

Your food coming out right.

Your drink getting refilled.

It’s the standard almost everywhere.

Hospitality recognizes that service is the bare minimum.

Hospitality is remembering your name and building a relationship.

It’s free beignets for the kids.

It’s the server who sees you’re having a rough morning and makes it a little lighter.

Service is what we do.

Hospitality is how we make you feel.

We strive for hospitality.
