The more I study herbs, the more I realize how much context matters. 🌿

It’s not simply “take this herb for that.” We’re looking at the energetics of the herb, what’s happening in the tissues, how it’s prepared, and the person using it.

That’s the difference between putting herbs together and learning how to formulate with intention.

Drink your herbs. But learn them, too..or just come holler at me, I got you!. 🫖🌿

If you wait until you need it, you’re already late. 🌿🔥

The table is set for tomorrow’s Fire C***r Workshop. We’re making the remedy now so it has time to steep for the season ahead.

Tonight’s rain felt like an invitation to sit with this again.

These words were written in another season of my life, but healing has a way of asking us to return—not to who we were, but with more tenderness for who we had to be.

I forgive the version of me who was surviving.
I honor the version of me who kept going.
And I make room for the version of me who is still becoming.

Some nights are for listening to the rain and remembering how far you’ve come. 🌧️🌿

Sip. Sit. Contemplate. 🌿

Tea has always been more than what’s in the cup.

It can make us curious. Connect us to wisdom passed down long before us. Give us a reason to gather, talk, listen, reflect, and care for ourselves and each other.

When I say tea is the invitation, I quite literally mean it.

Tea is the invitation. 🫖🌿

To slow down. To gather. To care for yourself. To sit in conversation. To learn from the plants. To remember the wisdom that has always been here.

A cup of tea can hold a lot more than tea.

This is what Planted is about — tea, education, community, and all the ways we come together around the cup.

Tea is the invitation. Come sit with us.

Tea is the invitation.

An invitation to care for yourself, to gather in community, to be curious about the plants around us, and to remember the wisdom that has traveled through generations before reaching our cups.

I wrote a little more about what I mean when I say that, and what I hope we continue creating through Planted.

Tea Is the Invitation When I say tea is the invitation, I quite literally mean it. Tea is the invitation to care for yourself. To have meaningful conversations. To sit in contemplation. To be filled by community and, in return, pour something back into it. It is an invitation to slow down enough to....
