This week at lunch we’ve got oyster mushroom Phillies! We roast then pan sear mushrooms from Eric Myers and then load it up with caramelized onion, peppers from Brad and Tiff Dilts and a gruyere cheese sauce!

Beau Henderson is at it again! For brunch this weekend we’ve got shrimp with sour cream and onion grits! It’s finished with a soft poached egg, paprika brown butter, and house made salt and vinegar chips. It’s the rich, crunchy, and creamy start to your day that you deserve!

This week we want to raise awareness for ICT Food Rescue and their mission to distribute unavoidable food surpluses, sharing them with the food insecure of Wichita.

Because we make family meal for our staff twice a day, every day, we don't always have much of a surplus to donate.

So this weekend we are going to donate 25% of the proceeds from our weekend special directly to ICT Food Rescue.

Chef Austin Henschel is hard at work on a pork chop feature, and if it goes well we will be adding it to our new menu at the end of the month. So come try something new from us this weekend while supporting a great cause.

Our weekend special will be available tonight and tomorrow night, or while supplies last. Have a great weekend!

We’ve been working on our rigatoni alla vodka and it’s our week night dinner special! Rigatoni pasta tossed with house-made guanciale, roasted tomato, cream, vodka, chili flake, and pecorino cheese!

Haven't done brunch in some time and fortunately was able to get Fert The Foodie and The Kansas Gastronomist to join me for an impromptu meal at FioRito Ristorante.

I've been hearing for a while that this is one of the best brunches in Wichita. The people might be right.

FINALLY, I was able to make it work on a weekend, feel so good with the decision, and ready for a long nap.

It's been two years since Wichita last had a restaurant serving Himalayan dishes when Himali Eats closed. And now, the city once again has its chance to try out the the cuisine with the arrival of Himalayan Sherpa Indian & Nepali Cuisine.
