The October takeover has officially started.

Our new flavors are ready, but we’re not tossing perfectly good cheesecake just because the calendar changed. 😂

So as the last of September’s flavors make their way out of the case, these four will be taking their spots:

🍬 Candy Corn
🍏 Poison Apple
🎃 Pumpkin
⚡ Butterbeer

That means you might catch a little overlap for a bit. If there’s a September flavor you’re still hanging onto, now would be the time. And if you’ve been waiting for October, they’re starting to roll in.

Well, September was a little ridiculous. So October, you’ve got a lot to live up to. 😂

We hit 10,000 followers… and then you guys just kept going. We’re already over 11,000.

And since it’s officially October, here’s a little preview of what’s coming to the cheesecake case soon:

🎃 Pumpkin is sticking around
🍏 Poison Apple: green apple cheesecake with a cherry center
⚡ Butterbeer: because October needed a little Harry Potter
🍬 Candy Corn is making its return

They’re not in the case just yet, so don’t come yelling at us today. 😂 But they’re coming soon.

** As a side note, if you have not tried the Pumpkin Chai Ice Cream yet, you need to!

Rainy Tuesday in Wichita… and look at that case. 😍

If the weather has you thinking about staying home today, THIS is what you’re missing.

Cheesecake. Cannoli. Tiramisu. Eva’s Chocolate Cake. Strawberry Cups. We came prepared.

And yes, we know Cheesecake Factory opens today. But if you’re going to stand in a line for cheesecake, you might want to pick the one where the line is INSIDE. 😂 ☔️

Wichita, you have REALLY been showing up for us lately. ❤️

And I’m not going to lie, we’d be perfectly happy if you decided to keep this up. 😂

We’ve been busier, we’ve been making more, and we’re doing our absolute best to keep the cases full and not run out of the things you came in for.

But more than anything, we just want to say thank you. Every visit, every share, every person you bring through the door matters to this little family-owned shop.

And it looks like we’ve got a beautiful Sunday ahead of us, so come see us. We’ll keep making dessert as fast as you keep eating it.

Eva’s Chocolate Cake is back today...

But here’s the deal: we’re only selling 10 slices a day. That’s one full cake.

No online orders. No preorders. First come, first served.

These things take a hot minute to make, and until we get a system down for making more of them, we can only do what we can do. 😂

Once those 10 slices are gone, they’re gone until tomorrow.

Eva’s Chocolate Cake sold out pretty quickly last time, and she’s making more. It’ll be back tomorrow.

Eva really wanted to make a cake. So we let her make a cake. 😂🍫

Meet Eva’s Chocolate Cake.

6 layers of chocolate cake with decadent chocolate ganache between every layer, more ganache on top, and mini chocolate chips.

And yes, it’s gluten-free.

For now, this is a test run. We only made a limited amount, and slices are $8 each.

If you guys love it, Eva gets her way and we keep making cake. 😂

10,000. 🎉

I’ve been watching that number get closer and closer, and today we finally hit it.

Here’s something that puts that number into perspective:

10,000 people is roughly the equivalent of 1 out of every 40 people in Wichita following our little family-owned dessert shop at Oliver & Kellogg.

That’s crazy to me.

Some of you have been here since the EXTRAordinary Cheesecakes days. Some of you found us today. 😂 Either way, thank you for following along, sharing our stuff, telling your friends about us and helping us grow this little shop.

And I promised we’d celebrate.

When we started this little dessert shop, 10,000 people following along seemed like a ridiculous number. Now we can practically touch it.

So we’re making one last push.
