🌟 𝗔 𝗛𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁! 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. I
Our deepest appreciation to our entire Virginia Beach Market and leadership team for an outstanding Food Drive this year. Every restaurant went above and beyond—decorating collection boxes, engaging their teams, and gathering food that truly made a difference.

Yesterday, our City Manager and each one of our District Managers personally delivered the collected food to the Food Bank of Virginia. Not only did they deliver it—they rolled up their sleeves and got to work. Together as a team, we packed over 300 pounds of food, enough to feed more than 100 families across our community.

Last night at the Mayflower Food Bank Drive for Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore, our team boxed over 100 food boxes and supported a full shift of sorting and preparing food for distribution. The heart and service shown were inspiring.

Celebrating Founder’s Week at Delight Restaurant Group – Honoring Dave Thomas’s Legacy

What an extraordinary week at Delight Restaurant Group as we celebrated Founder’s Week and paid tribute to the incredible legacy of our founder, Dave Thomas.

Across all our markets, our teams brought Dave’s values to life in meaningful, heartfelt, and impactful ways. And when we live Dave’s values—Quality Is Our Recipe, Treat People with Respect, Do the Right Thing, Give Something Back, and Profit Means Growth—that’s when the magic truly happens. That’s when teams thrive, guests feel the difference, and communities are impacted.

This week, we saw that magic everywhere:

🍔 Dress Like Dave Day – A Delight favorite! Teams across the company dressed like Dave, honoring his iconic spirit and the passion he poured into every restaurant.

🎉 Recognizing Our Restaurant Managers – Several markets took time to celebrate and uplift the leaders who bring our values to life every day. Their efforts drive culture, operations, and guest experience.

🤝 Giving Something Back – Teams volunteered in soup kitchens, delivered food to local food banks, and found ways to help their communities—reflecting the heart of Dave’s mission.

🎂 Celebrations Across Markets – Cakes, contests, team events, and countless moments of joy showed the power of community and connection across Delight.

And one truly special highlight came from our Virginia Beach market:
A signed Dave’s Way book—autographed by Dave Thomas himself—was presented to David Brown, Sr. DM. What a meaningful piece of Wendy’s history and a reminder of the values we continue to uphold.

Founder’s Week always brings us back to the core of who we are. Dave believed in people, in purpose, and in doing things the right way. When we carry those values forward, we build something that lasts far beyond one meal or one moment.

Thank you to every leader and every restaurant team member who made this week unforgettable. Your creativity, heart, and commitment keep Dave’s legacy alive in every restaurant across Delight.

🇺🇸 September 11—We Remember 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to honor the 2,977 lives lost on 9/11, the survivors who carry its weight, and the brave first responders and military members who ran toward danger so others could live. We remember their names, their families, and the extraordinary courage shown in the face of unthinkable tragedy.

As leaders, our responsibility is to turn remembrance into action—by building workplaces grounded in dignity and respect, serving our communities with compassion, and choosing unity over division. Small acts of service still matter: a kind word, a helping hand, a moment of gratitude.

We will never forget. We Win Together.
