There are moments in life when kindness, support, and community leave a mark that words can barely describe.
To the Valders Journal and this incredible community — thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the love you have shown Alexa during her journey in America’s Favorite Student, where she proudly finished in 2nd place.
Your coverage was more than just an article. It was encouragement, hope, and a reminder that small communities can have the biggest hearts. During a season of both loss and rebuilding for our family, your support helped lift Alexa’s spirit and gave her confidence to keep pushing forward.
The kindness, positivity, and genuine care shown by the Journal and everyone who shared, voted, commented, and cheered her on will never be forgotten.
Because of all of you, Alexa gained one of the greatest experiences and the feeling of being believed in by her community.
Thank you for seeing her, supporting her, and celebrating her story. We are endlessly grateful, and wish your kindness repaid a thousand fold. ❤️
