Tonight’s throwback feature is our Alla Vodka for just $10.95. Penne pasta tossed in our velvety vodka sauce made with roasted garlic marinara and a swirl of parmesan cream sauce.

Ciao to “Ciao” 👋

A few years ago, we rebranded to become the Mambo’s we’d always been.

It was a nod to the name people already knew us by, a return to our roots, and a shift toward the future of this restaurant and this community we love so much.

This morning, the last remaining “Ciao” sign came down from the building.

And honestly? It felt bigger than just hanging a new sign.

It was a reminder of how much this place has grown over 25 years. The people who built it. The guests who filled the dining room night after night. The staff who became family. The memories tied to every corner of this old house here in Whitefish - after all, Mambo’s has always been more than the name on the sign.

Here’s to 25 years of Mountain Italian in Whitefish, Montana.
And here’s to the next chapter 🥂

A few years ago, we rebranded to become the Mambo’s we’d always been.

Tonight’s throwback special is Papa Biagio’s Bolognese for just $10.95. Ribbon noodles, homemade meat sauce, mozzarella, fresh ricotta, then baked in our brick oven until bubbly and perfect.

Tonight’s the night for the longtime favorite. 😏

Our Pasta Ravenna is back at throwback pricing for one night only as part of Mambo’s 25th Anniversary Week. Bowtie pasta tossed with grilled chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and mushrooms in that rich marinara cream sauce people have been craving for decades.

In the final part of our conversation with Ashlie, she opens up about losing her dad, John Michaels, and the way the people around her at Mambo’s and Glacier Restaurant Group showed up when she needed them most.

For 25 years, this place has been part of the Whitefish community. And moments like this are a reminder that community means a whole lot more than what happens inside the dining room.

Ashlie also shares a little about the golf scramble held in her dad’s honor each summer at Village Greens. This year’s tournament takes place July 25th, and it’s a cause close to a lot of hearts around here ❤️

One thing about Mambo’s… you end up learning a lot more than just the menu 🍷

In part four of our conversation with Ashlie, she talks about the wine trainings over the years and how much they taught her, not just as a server and trainer, but outside the restaurant too.

From winery visits to traveling through Italy, she laughs about getting to be the one in the group with all the answers.

Twenty-five years in, it’s still pretty cool watching people grow alongside this place.

Mountain Italian has always meant doing things a little differently.

In part three of our conversation with Ashlie, she talks about the food that helped shape Mambo’s over the years. Traditional Italian dishes with a little twist to fit right at home in the beautiful valley we call home.

But somewhere along the way, it became about more than the food.

Locals became regulars. Visitors kept coming back year after year. Servers remembered names, tables, and stories. And after enough visits, people stopped feeling like guests and started feeling familiar.
