Thank you.

For the nights you waited for a table. For the birthdays, anniversaries, first dates, and Tuesday dinners that somehow turned into three-hour conversations.

Thank you for filling this little house day in and day out.

For 25 years, you’ve lined up out the door, squeezed around crowded tables, recommended us to friends, brought your families back, and made Mambos part of your traditions.

Some of you celebrated with us during anniversary week. Some of you have been celebrating with us for years.

Either way, we’re grateful.

Restaurants come and go. Twenty-five years is something special. And the only reason we’ve made it this far is because people like you keep walking through the front door.

Thank you for making us part of your lives, your memories, and your community.

Dear Team,

Thank you.

For the anniversary week. For the Friday night party. For the countless hours that went into making it all happen.

Thank you for the long shifts, the extra effort, the teamwork, and for proving that even forty shattered wine carafes and eight gallons of red wine can’t slow you down for very long.

A lot of people celebrated 25 years of Mambos with us last week. What they saw was a great party. What they didn’t always see was everything that happened behind the scenes to make it possible.

This place has always been more than pasta and red wine. It’s been built by the people who show up every day, take care of each other, and somehow find a way to make it all work.

We couldn’t have celebrated 25 years without you.

Thank you for helping write this chapter of the story, and thank you for everything you do to keep this little house feeling like Mambos.

How it ended... ❤️

Late in the night, something pretty special happened.

The people who helped build Mambo's started finding their way back through the front door. Former team members, longtime leaders, familiar faces from years gone by. Before long, they were sharing stories, swapping memories, and catching up with the people carrying the torch today.

And honestly, it felt exactly right.

New team members mingling with the people who helped shape this place into what it became. A little bit of what was, a whole lot of who we are, and a reminder of where we're headed next.

For a restaurant, 25 years is a long time.

For Mambo's, it's been thousands of shifts, millions of memories, and generations of people who left their mark on this little house in Whitefish.

Getting to see so many of those chapters together in one room was something we'll never forget.

Here's to the people who got us here, and the people writing the next chapter 🥂

How it went... ❤️

The wine got poured. The pasta kept flying out of the kitchen. Old friends found each other across the dining room. New memories got made right alongside the old ones.

For one week, we got to celebrate 25 years of Mambo’s with the people who made it possible.

Some of you have been joining us since the early days. Some of you found us more recently. Some of you drove across town. Some of you came back to Whitefish and made Mambo’s one of your first stops.

What stood out most wasn’t the throwback pricing, the photo booth, or even the anniversary itself.

It was the stories.

The stories shared across tables. The familiar faces walking through the front door. The guests who remembered old menu items, old servers, old nights out, and the guests who are creating those memories for the first time right now.

We felt a whole lot of love last week.

And after 25 years in this little house, that’s still the part that means the most.

Thank you for celebrating with us. Thank you for supporting us. Thank you for making Mambo’s part of your story.

Here’s to the memories we’ve already made, and the ones still waiting for us around the corner 🥂

How it started... 🍷

At 4:55pm on the night of our 25th Anniversary Party, a shelf decided it was retiring.

The result? Forty glass carafes, eight gallons of wine, and a cleanup project that definitely wasn’t on the schedule.

Honestly, if you’ve spent enough time around Mambo’s, you know this feels pretty on brand.

What happened next was the part that mattered.

Everyone jumped in. Servers, cooks, managers. Nobody stopped to ask whose job it was. They just grabbed a broom, a towel, a mop, and got to work.

At 5:07pm, we opened the doors.

By the time guests started arriving, the cleanup was done and the story was already making people laugh.

And that’s probably why this moment stuck with us.

A few weeks ago, we shared photos of our new sign going up and talked about how it represented 25 years of memories, hard work, and all the little moments that made Mambo’s what it is.

This felt like one of those moments too.

Not because a shelf broke. Because of the people who showed up when it did.

For 25 years, this place has never been just pasta and red wine. It’s been a group of people willing to jump in, help out, and figure it out together. That’s true of our team, and it’s true of this community that’s supported us every step of the way.

So while it wasn’t exactly the start we had planned for our anniversary celebration, it turned out to be a pretty perfect reminder of what Mambo’s has always been about.
