For the past four months, Katy has been serving drinks, sharing stories, and helping keep the good vibes flowing at Pixán.

Favorite menu item? Summer Greens.

Outside of work, she’s usually spending time on the river with her puppy and working toward becoming a labor and delivery nurse.

Starting off our Meet the Team series with someone who’s been part of Pixán long before the doors opened — Chris’ mom, Adriana.

A mother, grandmother, and one of the people who helped shape the heart behind this place.

A few words from Chris:

“My mom is the brightest light in any room she walks into. She taught me to see the best in people, and why I should forgive even when it’s the most difficult thing to do. I now get to see how she raises a child from a different perspective, as a father, while she passes her easy wisdom and strength to my son.”
