FUN FACT: We actually shop for our ingredients week in and week out. We go straight to the source, buy directly from them, or meet up to exchange hands, or handle drop-off scheduling. That’s the Vagabond way and the difference between your breakfast, and our brunch.

Love your town? Use it.

Eat in it. Drink in it. Walk around it. Bring your friends downtown. Try somewhere you haven't been in a while. Cities stay interesting when the people who live there participate in them.

Chicago's a mecca for amazing food, and I got to eat some incredible things in the couple years I lived there. Being flat broke the whole time, though, meant the opportunities were rare. When they came, they were almost always revelatory.
