WEDNESDAY - 19 AUGUST. We introduced a new side a few weeks ago, and it sold out in record time. It's back with the addition of feta cheese. OPA! Black beans, corn, tomatoes, green peppers, onion and ORZO! The excitement is mounting as we can finally say goodbye to all the scaffolding! Please come and take a look at this beautiful restoration. Say hi to Cindy's grandson, Asher!

Most Beers $2 TUESDAY - We're introducing a new martini that's otherworldly, and you can thank Marissa and Ethan for this one. KEY LIME PIE MARTINI. Wait until you give this one a try. I think we'll definitely have a problem limiting you. The gazillions of crêpes pictured take us back many years. I put together a Mille Crêpe Cake that was a 2-day ordeal between Alex Hurzden and me! 😅 And our latest T-shirt is on sale through the last day of August. This makes a great going-away-to-school gift.

17 AUGUST - Where has this month gone? MONDAY SPECIAL - A variation on our Caprese sandwich. We're doing an open-face, and I think you'll agree it's so much easier to manage. Toasted Mancini Bakery focaccia, mozzarella cheese, oven-roasted tomatoes, fresh basil with our balsamic glaze drizzle. WEEK SOUP is POTATO. Monday always means 1/2 off bottles of wine. WEDNESDAY at The Gator. I don't need to say more; you can see what's ahead. Heidi did some soothing and got lucky. Jebbia's was able to accommodate her request. How long we'll be able to source these has always been something I've never understood. Don't red tomatoes start out green? Why then are they almost always a summer thing? As for completing the facade this week, Mother Nature has thrown us a curveball. Soon.

Tuesday - Let's update a bit on the facade work that's been taking place these past couple of months. If you've been by since Saturday, you'll notice that most of the scaffolding is down! This is definitely cause for celebration. The crew involved in this operation has been phenomenal, all professional restoration artists by trade. The remaining small scaffold will be down before week's end if the weather cooperates. Kim Byrd and her son, Wesley, spent long hours Sunday working. Thank you all for your cooperation while we see this project through. Meanwhile, come on down and check it out for yourself. Tuesday always means most beers are $2.

🧿🧿 the Orzo Salad special with our new housemade spicy Honey Lemon Vinaigrette dressing!

Unrelated but fun fact, I once secured a round of drinks for all nine patrons plus the barkeep at a Columbus, Ohio dive bar with crap cell reception by gently Jedi mind tricking a man-splaining dude-schmo into wagering said round on his overly-confident assertion that Orzo was a grain.
It was a slow Thursday night.
Dude should’ve let his date tell her story without being a Butt-in-ski-opolis.
Said date was rocking one of those Mariner’s caps you see all the old fellas in Santorini repping, I feel like bro had plenty of chances to read the room.
That dive was one of my favorite parts of Columbus and not just because it was three blocks from my apartment and next door to a Legendary 24-hour Donut joint.

Management would like me to disclose that our Orzo salad has a little chipotle kick to it,
I explained to management that I was confident you could handle the heat.
