Hi 👋🏻 A little behind the scenes ROASTERY update for ya…

Doing things all by yourself is HARD. The money, time, knowledge, and energy it takes to create a business from scratch is endless and can feel daunting. If you are out there running your own thing, I SEE YOU AND APPRECIATE YOU! Small business is what makes a town special.

Behind Tacet, it’s just me and Steve, with the help of our families. No investors or employees. We both work full time jobs in addition to Tacet. Then we added a BABY to the mix, and now the hard things feel near impossible 😂 No shade Finn, we love you.

With all that being said, we are making some progress! Taking down walls, painting, unboxing the coffee roaster, planning layouts, etc. And….some things have been frustratingly SLOW. We have waited almost a month just for quotes on ventilation installation. This week is Oglebayfest prep and we are hitting it all as hard as we can. At the end of the day, I’d still choose the small biz life over playing it safe. We can’t wait to get this thing going ya’ll! See ya this weekend!
