There is a large company working right in front of Grill & Eye today, with multiple trucks blocking the area. Both sides of the street currently have no parking available.

👉 The good news: we do have limited parking spaces behind the restaurant if you’d still like to stop by!

It’s with a heavy heart that we see more and more small restaurants closing their doors.
This week, another one — “El Sarape” with over 30 years of history — is shutting down.

Unfortunately, large corporations are taking over the city, and it’s becoming harder and harder for small businesses to compete. Weymouth is growing at a very fast pace, and small businesses simply can’t keep up.

Our breakfast service has been hit especially hard. Delivery companies are booming, but we see fewer and fewer customers coming into the restaurant. What many people don’t realize is that these platforms can take up to 60% of the order value — leaving us barely breaking even.

We just want to remind everyone of something simple:
🍳 Eating at the restaurant means fresher food
💰 You can pay up to 30% less
❤️ And you directly support a local small business

We kindly ask: please continue supporting small businesses in Weymouth. Don’t let years of history, family efforts, and local dreams be taken over by big corporations.
