It is with mixed emotions we are announcing the closure of the Westwood Cafe. We are grateful and happy to have served the Westwood community for the past eight years, and we were happy to make the adjustments the community asked for doing menu upgrades, a remodel and staff improvements, but unfortunately the population of the Westwood area at this time cannot support our full time business. We are sad to be leaving the Westwood store, but when you still want to support Blue Ox you can find us in Susanville or at LACC. Our Westwood employees will be moving over to our LACC location starting this week, so we will no longer be operating the Westwood Cafe as of Wed, May 20th. Thank you for your many years of support ❤️

Westwood Cafe is extending its hours! Starting this week we will be open Wed-Friday 8am-2pm and Saturdays/Sundays from 8am-4pm! Also, Senior Meals on wheels starts Wednesday, April 22nd through Dignity Health, and we are the pickup location! If you have not signed up contact Jennifer Swanson at 530-226-3070!

We had a surprise yesterday! Evie used to hang out with us making cake pops and cheesecakes when she was little at the cafe, and she was one of our favorites! She came back through town today just to say hi and bring me flowers and a card. ❤️ She is a beautiful person inside and out, and is now in nursing school! Love seeing these kids grow up!
