Some stories deserve a second chapter.
Before the fire, we were honored to showcase the photography of local artist KMSPhotoRI here at The Cooked Goose. Shortly after her work was hung, the fire destroyed not only our restaurant, but every piece of her collection displayed within it.
There is something uniquely heartbreaking about losing art. A photograph is more than an image.. it is time, patience, creativity, and countless moments spent searching for the perfect light, scene, or story. The loss of that collection was devastating, but the artist behind it never stopped creating.
While we worked to rebuild our home, Kelsey continued to explore, create, and grow as an artist. Today, some familiar photographs have returned to our walls, joined by new work that showcases how her talent and vision have evolved over the last year.
We are incredibly grateful to welcome her work back to The Cooked Goose. Her return is a testament to perseverance, resilience, and the enduring power of creativity. Both her artwork and our restaurant have been given a second chapter, and we are honored to share that story with our community.
