This Friday at 6pm, come to Owlbear's Rest to view and demo Critter Crimes! , a local game design studio, will be demoing their newest game before it goes up on Kickstarter.

Play as a 1930s animal mob boss, committing crimes to take over NYCs Central Park. This is a 1-5 player asymmetric dice and worker placement game. All over 12 are welcome!

Sharpen your claws and prepare for a great time.

Ever wanted to try Dungeons & Dragons but weren't sure where to start? This beginner-friendly mini-campaign is the perfect opportunity! No experience required, no pressure, and definitely no shortage of snacks.

Join OBR Team member and Dungeon Master Drew as he guides you through the latest edition of Dungeons & Dragons. During the first session, you'll learn the basics, create your own hero, and begin a month-long journey into the legendary Mines of Phandelver! ⛏️🐉
This is a 4-session adventure, but every session is drop-in friendly! If you join us for Session 1, you'll create a custom character to take with you throughout the adventure. Jumping in later? No problem! Pre-generated characters will be ready so you can dive right into the action.

To ensure everyone has the best experience, each session requires at least 4 players to run. Please sign up in advance so we can keep you updated—and keep the adventure on track!

💰 Cost: $15 per player, per session
⏳ Duration: 3-hour sessions every Thursday for 4 weeks

This week, every brownie sundae you order at Owlbear's Rest will help future breast cancer survivors.

Owlbear's Rest exists in large part because of the wake-up call that breast cancer gave me. I'm a Survivor, and we are honored to team up with Bakes4BC to pay it forward.

Through July 30, 100% of the proceeds from every brownie sundae sold will be donated to support breast cancer research.

Breast cancer doesn't respect age, gender, race, or economic boundaries. It touches far too many lives, and together we can help make a difference—one sundae at a time.

Come treat yourself, bring a friend, and help us turn dessert into hope.

Dungeons & Kittens by Edge Studio has players take the roles of brave kittens who have been exiled by the evil King Walter into a “scary” world where nature has reclaimed the earth long after the disappearance of humans (Giant Bare Butts).

Non-violent problem solving, clever interactions, an emphasis on teamwork, and non-lethal strategies are the cornerstones of making this an exciting and rewarding experience for everyone.

The best part about it is that the game touches on positive themes like respect for nature, freedom, tolerance, and the humorous tension of natural predators and prey trying to get along in a civilization of their own design.
