We apologize for taking so long to give eveyone the answer on V Shabu. We had great difficulty while building VShabu and we are deeply sorry that we are unable to bring the hot pot concept to you guys. After discussing with the builder the requirement the city make us doing, it would be a great financial risk for us. We are putting VShabu on hold and hoping we will have this restaurant concept in the future.

After a disaster of a 14 months long paying rent we have decided to move on to a new concept. We are bringing you Vietopia Asian Fusion Bistro. We are planing to open soon this coming month. Please follow us on Facebook. page is Vietopia Asian Fusion.

We are still working with the city of west Des Moines fire marshal for safety issues. There are a lot of things need to be done before we can open. We are pushing very hard to make it happen. As soon as we are closer to opening we will let eveyone know. Thank you for inquiring about V-shabu. We are as frustrated as anyone for the delay, but we have to go through all of the proper people before we can open.

V Shabu is on going working with the west desmoines fire marshal on fire safety issues. We are hoping the issue will be resolved soon. We will update on our Facebook as soon ass we hear an update from the fire marshal. Thank you for inquiring.
