[Our Secret Behind Story] 🍜

Many people ASK WHY our restaurant name is ‘HongKong Pack’s Noodle’ not Korean noodle.
Well… first of all, I didn’t choose the name. 😂 This is a famous franchise brand in Korea.
Interestingly, for a long time, even Korean people used to believe that black bean noodle was a Chinese food. At some point, people learned that Chinese bean paste is just one of ingredients and there is no such a food in China. Guessing that whoever first created the menu wanted to give the impression that it was a Chinese food.
Well… anyway it is now one of the most popular soul foods to most Koreans.

The founder of this brand, Mr. Paik, is famous as Korean Gordon Ramsay.
He might have doubted about our success in UT because we did too. It wasn’t an easy decision to bring this concept but thanks for your love and support. But Mr. Paik recently left a personal comment on the YouTube, which we were featured, and said he would visit here in UT sometime.
