As we wind down our taproom operations this week and possibly next week, we have to honor our friend and long time can artist - Eric Clarke. Husband, Father, Teacher, Punk Rocker and all around amazing human.

The collaboration between Eric and Head Brewer Mark for their wild ideas became what shaped our brand for 7 years of success and setting us apart from others. That was always the goal, and without him it wasn’t possible.

When Eric passed a few months ago it was a heavy hit to all of us but also an entire community felt beyond just our taproom and labels. The taproom became a shrine to our friend. We miss him dearly every single day.

When you come in this week and next, Eric will be there with all of us, he never left.

We like to think he’s somewhere drinking a cold Full Nelson and listening to Jawbreaker.

🚨IMPORTANT POST🚨

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of our West Springfield taproom on Bosworth Street. It’s been a long, great journey for 7 plus years. Filled with amazing events, music, laughs and most importantly, our patrons.

With that being said, we plan to keep brewing beer at our Bosworth location for our distribution partners so West Side Big Slide, Resignation and our core beers will continue on for as long as possible in stores and restaurants.

As for the remainder of the taproom, we plan to stay open for as long as we have beer left. This week we are open Thursday through Saturday. Kicking things off with our LAST Open Mic Night with Andyhasaband. Kitchen will be open Thursday and Friday but no kitchen starting Saturday. Please come and show Em your love.

On a more personal note, from myself Mark:
If you’ve ever walked into the taproom and seen me covered in grain, exhausted but smiling, or had a chance to be served beers by me, you know what this place means to me. For 7 years, this brewery has been my heart and soul. This wasn’t a solo effort. I am endlessly grateful to Murph for running the show behind the scenes, our partners - the investors who backed us, and the staff who worked their asses off alongside me. And to our community: you turned a warehouse with some brewing equipment into a home. Thank you for loving our beer and supporting this journey. We’ve got a few weeks left, and I’d love nothing more than to raise a glass with the people who made it all possible. Come see us.
