Years ago we got these tubs from a guy that we’ll just call Yapper.
He taught us a lot about hatching perch. We haven’t used these tubs for maybe 15 years but we got them out this spring to try some old new ways of hatching. They’re working out great!

You probably have no idea how exciting it is to see these little babies kicking inside their eggs. Just a couple days from swimming!

Sadly that isn’t a pot of gold at the end of the pond. But the fish are eating well, and that’s the next best thing!

Not sure if this is the best or the worst business decision I’ve ever made. I told these two they could have all the profit from tadpole sales this year if they worked at the farm. They’re off to a big start!
