🎉 Happy Birthday, Shawn!

Today we're giving an extra special birthday shoutout to someone who has been part of the DoubleTree by Hilton West Fargo family since day one!

Shawn has been with us since we opened in 2014 and is a familiar, friendly face to so many of our guests and team members. As our Public Spaces Attendant, he helps keep our hotel looking its best, but it's his welcoming personality that truly makes him special. Whether he's stopping to say hello or making sure our guests feel right at home in the lobby, Shawn always brings a little extra hospitality to their day.

We're so lucky to have him on our team!

Help us celebrate Shawn by dropping a birthday wish in the comments below! 🎂

❤️ KAJ EVENTS

Our Fargo-area teams have been busy showing up for their community in some really meaningful ways.

🌟 West Fest
Our Fargo team, along with family and friends, joined the DoubleTree and Homewood Suites van for the West Fest Parade. They handed out candy and frisbees, connected with people along the route, and proudly represented KAJ’s West Fargo hotels.

💜 Women Connect: Elizabeth Smart
Several members of our Fargo Market team attended the FMWF Chamber’s Women Connect Celebration and heard from keynote speaker Elizabeth Smart. Her message on resilience, choosing joy, and continuing to move forward through hard seasons gave the group plenty to reflect on and take with them.

🌳 KAJ Cares: Reforest the Red
Christopher Tri, Darcy Shelabarger, Christine Dwyer, and Kate Noterman spent the afternoon volunteering at Reforest the Red. They dug, planted, mulched, watered, and staked new trees and shrubs along the Red River, working alongside other volunteers to make a lasting difference.

❤️ Giving Back with The Salvation Army
Members of our DoubleTree team also spent time volunteering with The Salvation Army. A special thank-you to Danielle and Anthea for giving their time and representing KAJ with such care.

We’re grateful for every team member who gives their time, supports their community, and brings our Here for People spirit to life beyond the hotel. ❤️
