Help build The Hideout Trans Collective!

As we prepare to launch next month, ( August 9th) I’m looking for community members who would like to help shape what this all ages group becomes.

The goal of The Hideout Trans Collective is simple.,create a welcoming, affirming space where transgender, nonbinary, gender-diverse & allies can connect, and support one another, share resources, build friendships.

We can’t do that alone. I’d love for this to be built by our community. We are looking for volunteers who would be interested in..

•Leading sharing circles
• Organizing a community clothing closet or clothing swaps that can be held & picked up at the cafe.
• Connecting people with local resources (healthcare, legal aid, housing, employment, name changes.)
• Planning activities, games, crafts, or discussion topics each month
• Helping coordinate speakers, workshops, and special events
• Greeting new attendees and helping everyone feel welcome.
• Assisting with social media and outreach
• Simply bringing ideas and a willingness to help
