West Chester… you came HUNGRY last night! 😂🍕
We love a busy night at America’s Pie, but some of you waited an hour to an hour and a half for your orders, and we are truly sorry. That’s longer than you’re used to from us, and longer than we want you waiting. Thank you for your patience and for hanging in there with our crew. ❤️
We also lost another half dozen brain cells somewhere between the pizza oven and the order tickets. If you found them with your fries, please return them. We’re running low. 🤣
And now for the BIG news we somehow haven’t had time to announce…
🚚🎬 WE BOUGHT A FOOD TRUCK… AND SIGNED A SIX-WEEK MOVIE CATERING DEAL!
When we were asked to cater a movie set, we did the perfectly reasonable thing… bought an entire food truck. Apparently, we don’t know how to say, “Let us think about it.” 😂🤦♀️
Our team has owned a dozen businesses and restaurants over the past 30 years. We have boatloads of experience—and this has STILL been the hardest thing we’ve ever done!
For the past five weeks, we’ve been juggling the restaurant with feeding 200+ people a day on set. Breakfast and lunch menus, changing schedules, early starts, dietary needs, special requests, and making sure everyone—from the crew to the celebrities—is fed. We’ve been putting in 20-hour days, and we’re pretty sure we now dream in catering pans. 😂
It’s exciting, exhausting, and absolute mayhem. We’re proud of what we’ve taken on, but you still deserve the service you know us for. All that behind-the-scenes craziness doesn’t change that.
A huge thank-you to our staff and our entire team for working their tails off—including George, who has gone above and beyond to help keep everything moving, even delivering food at 3 a.m. We’re also incredibly grateful to our customers for keeping us so busy. We appreciate you more than you know.
The food truck deserved a grand announcement. Instead, it’s getting an apology post from our team, sharing approximately three remaining brain cells. So… SURPRISE! 🚚🍕❤️
