Our Million Meal Pack jambalaya kits are delicious on their own, and incredibly easy to make at home. Flavorful and ready to help fill plates in our community.

We’re excited to partner with talented local chef and restaurateur Ruta Kahate of Ruta’s Fresh Indian Fare (located just down the street from the event!), who made one of the kits and added her own spin with affordability in mind. Ruta adds her signature bold and comforting flavor to each bite with a rich garlic-tomato sauce, warming cumin and turmeric, hearty chickpeas, and frozen spinach.

And be sure to join Ruta at the Million Meal Pack on November 5. As one of our Team Captains, she’ll be helping lead the charge as we pack ONE MILLION meals for neighbors facing hunger across our communities.

Help Pick 'n Save, Metro Market, Mariano's and U.S. Hunger come together with one big goal: providing ONE MILLION meals for families across the region.

Join us on Thursday, November 5 at Wisconsin State Fair Park (640 S. 84th St., West Allis, WI) as we work side-by-side to pack one million nutritious meals for neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

✅ Three volunteer shifts available:
🕣 8:30-10:30 a.m.
🕚 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
🕜 1:30-3:30 p.m.

👕 The first 2,000 volunteers will receive a FREE event t-shirt!
