Strawberries. What are they? Where did they come from? Who fought at the Battle of Strawberry Hill? We’re a humble brewery. We’re not qualified to answer these questions. We are however perfectly qualified to add strawberries to beer. And so we did. Strawbulosa is our extra limited time batch of strawberry farmhouse pale ale. An offshoot of our Inizio farmhouse collaboration with Eno River Brewing, Strawbulosa features the same Chesapeake Pilsner and Appalachian Wheat from Riverbend Malt House, Anchovy and Belma hops. Primary fermentation with our house foraged yeast in cherrywood, secondary fermentation on fresh local strawberries. Gluten redcued and available for a short time on draft in our taproom!

Shibui draft pours and cans designed by Wade Asa are available once again! Our oak rested, gluten reduced pilsner features a single decoction mash made from Chesapeake Pilsner and Great Chit from Riverbend Malt House. Czech Saaz hops to highlight the woodsy undertones after resting cold in our oak puncheons for eleven weeks. The same mild earthy spice, well rounded oak notes and crisp, refreshing finish you’ve come to know and love. Gittit while it’s gittable.

You know what we never want to do? Create a hassle for any of y’all; the antithesis of our entire plan to party with you. It’s come to our attention that there is confusion revolving around our landlord’s decision to sign on with SmartPark for the lot behind our building at 395 Haywood Rd. Here’s the deal:

• Free parking for those interested in supporting our small business.

• Scan the QR code to validate your parking inside our taproom when you arrive.

• If you don’t pay or validate, then SmartPark will send you a ticket in the mail.

• That’s it.

Although it was not our choice to create this extra step for you, we want to make sure that we’re doing everything we can to spare our community and visitors unnecessary frustration. Biking, walking, skating, skateboarding, skipping, frolicking, cartwheeling, backflipping, twirling, grooving, and crab-walking to us are all highly encouraged as well. We appreciate you all dearly.

All it takes is a little Finesse. Our 3.2% Pilsette is on draft featuring Cumberland Pilsner and Great Chit malt from Riverbend Malt House. A fine hopping of Hallertau Mittelfrüh, Citra, Mosaic and Galaxy. Fermented inside our acacia wood foudre. Light with subtle hints of peach and passionfruit. Infinitely quaffable full pints and half pints available in the taproom today, in cans with artwork by Wade Asa 7/29.

Live music tonight courtesy of our Classic R&B buddies the Jukebox Jumpers from 7-10p! And for those who love the holzfass expect extra special pours of our Cellarveza Mexican style lager tomorrow! New to holzfass? It’s a traditional oak barrel, popular in Germany, we use for extended aging of our lagers to offer smooth, gravity-fed pints with a unique woody character. Such an us thing to do. Limited quantity, available while it lasts tomorrow!
