💜 June is Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month 💜

More than 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease. As we recognize Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, it's important to learn about the disease, understand its impact on individuals and families, and become familiar with ways to support those who may need additional care.

Alzheimer's affects memory, thinking, and behavior, often making daily tasks more challenging over time. Through education, awareness, and compassion, we can help create a more supportive community for those living with dementia and the caregivers who walk alongside them.

If you are caring for a loved one with dementia, explore these helpful caregiver resources and tips:

Together, we can increase understanding, reduce stigma, and support those affected by Alzheimer's disease. 🧠💜

June is National Men’s Mental Health Month. 💚🪴

We’d like to take a moment to highlight the importance of mental health and remind everyone that it is okay to ask for help when you need it most. Too often, men feel pressured to stay silent about their struggles, but seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

This article explains that men’s mental health is often overlooked because many men hide their emotions or avoid seeking help due to social expectations. It emphasizes the importance of better understanding, empathy, and support for men’s mental health.

By encouraging open conversations and supporting one another, we can help break the stigma surrounding mental health.

Thank you to our amazing intern, Denise, for creating this informational flyer and helping bring awareness to such an important topic! 🤍

Walking through our home, you’ll find beautiful reminders of nature all around us—trees standing tall, flowers blooming brightly, birds singing their songs, and moments of quiet peace.🫂

This magnolia flower caught my attention. In full bloom, it serves as a powerful symbol of resilience, strength, and endurance. Despite the storms it may face, it continues to grow and flourish, reminding us that we, too, have the ability to persevere through life’s challenges.

I wanted to share this small moment of beauty in hopes that it brings you a sense of peace and reflection. No matter what you may be carrying today, remember how strong you are. Like the magnolia, you have weathered difficult seasons and continue to bloom in your own unique way. 🤍🕊🦢

Take a moment today to appreciate how far you've come.
