Looks like another beautiful Friday night coming up! We have the band Flash In A Pan coming to play, there will be cold drinks in the barn- including Gin Bucket! Vanilla Ice Cream and Pineapple Dole Whip (dairy free, and still delicious!) are available on the patio.

Since the farmers market was cancelled yesterday we decided to add some more pizzas to the menu on the farm tonight! Sorry for the smaller font size, but I had to squeeze them all on there! It's going to be a beautiful evening, there's a great breeze out here too! Nathan will be singing all the favorites starting at 6 PM!

No farmers market tonight! We will add The May Pie pizza to tomorrow nights menu for Pizza On The Farm!

We are so sad to announce that tonight’s Farmers Market is CANCELLED due to the severe weather.

We know what you might be thinking if the skies clear up later: "But it stopped raining before 5p!"

Here's the scoop: because of the heavy rainfall we've already received, the park grounds are incredibly saturated. Even if the sun comes out, the area is simply too wet and muddy to safely accommodate our vendors setting up and the foot traffic of all our wonderful shoppers. We want to protect the park grounds and, most importantly, keep everyone safe and slip-free!

We are back on the farm this week! We also got Big Grove's newest beer, the Tigerhawk! Find it and other Big Grove drinks in the barn, along with cocktails, Mill Stream Sodas, pop and water. The farm opens up at 4:30, pizzas at 5, music at 6, and it all wraps up around 8 PM.

Join us tonight on the farm! We have the ovens fired, ice cream freezing (chocolate or vanilla tonight!) and cold drinks in the barn. If coming from highway one, there is road construction on 540th (the road West of the Kalona Creamery) so you may want to go through Frytown instead.

We will be closed next Friday for some family time.

I’m putting together a gift certificate basket for a fundraiser benefiting my friend Taith’s father. While I originally planned to include a Pizza on the Farm gift certificate, I thought it might be even more fun to create a “road trip day” experience featuring gift certificates to local businesses. They’re based in Albia, so stops in town or along the way would be perfect.
