I’ve made an executive decision and extended the hours. Students can come in from 4-7pm to study/do homework and get 10% off their orders!
This means the 10% off starts at 4:00 and ends at 7:00, but we aren’t going to boot you out if you still need to do some work/hang out longer.

Today a young guest asked if this dragon has a name.
“It does not,” I told her, “but naming some of the dragons around the shop will be part of our Halloween Day festivities.”

I’m excited for Halloween at and have some fun things planned. I’ll start talking about those soonish, but today’s conversation reminded me that I haven’t told you all the name of our logo dragon (or if I have, I don’t remember doing it, so feel free to remind me). That will be a post for Facebook soon, hopefully.

Our young guest does have a name in mind for the dragon in the picture. It’s pretty good, and she’s planning to submit it on Halloween, so I’m already rooting for it to be the winner.

I’ve scheduled this post to show up a few times this week, but I just wanted to post again to clarify: homeschoolers can get the same discount! Same goes for Back to Hogwarts Day! I homeschooled our six kids until they went to high school, so we’re all about extending the love to homeschooling students 📚🐲

Treat yourself while you study and save a little money while you’re at it! We’ll do our best to keep all the dragons down to a dull roar to minimize distractions.
