2nd Squatch has been located and returned to the Shack! Congratulations my dear! Gteat pic btw! We hope you enjoyed your special this evening on us!

This Squatch had a thing for BLING and was located at Praters Jewelry on the square in Waynesboro.

We are currently verifying that our 3rd Squatch has not left its original location in Collinwood where people go to get a slice of something sweet and nice. Perhaps a drink or maybe a treat is what this Squatch would find real neat.

Stay tuned folks as we have more that will be heading out for fun and adventure with the fabulous folks of Wayne County.

Well Hello you beautiful Wayne Countians! Guess who is back and ready to rock your taste buds? Yaaay it's me, its us, it's we, it's Jack Jack's Shack Deli and Dogs you see!

As you can probably tell I am feeling 99% which means by tomorrow I should be 💯 for ya'all!

Let's start with the schedule. HOME SWEET HOME ALL WEEK darlings.

We have had several requests for the return of these 2 Specials. One is light, bright, fruity and fantastic and the other is a down right ooey gooey giddy up bite.

1. Toasted Bangin' BBQ Chicken Bacon Cheddar Ranch Wrap
Tender Chicken drenched in Brown Sugar BBQ Sauce, Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Ranch Dressing, Crispy Thick Cut Bacon finished with some Green Onions wrapped up in an XL Flour Tortilla thats been slathered with a Cheddar, Bacon Ranch Dip then Toasted to a Golden Brown. Yes this is your Sassy, Saucy, Oooey Gosh thats Good mouth full. Add an extra kick and ask for Jalapeño. $10

2. The Red, White, and Blue Chicken Wrap or Salad
Fresh sliced Strawberries, Blueberries, Feta Cheese, a little Fresh Mozz, Crispy Bacon Pieces, a touch of Green Onions with a Vanilla Granola Crunch for texture with Tender, Juicy Chicken Breast with Crispy Green Leaf Lettuce and your choice of dressing. I suggest one of the following: Creamy Poppyseed, Strawberry Balsamic Vinegarett or Light Raspberry Walnut Vinegarett. $10 People went "Ooooh and Aaah" like fireworks on the 4th of July for this one. Refreshing, Fruity, Light, Bright and Fantastic!

Lady Squatch had a necklace in need of a polish and repair. She jumped on a trail and headed to the square. With a little extra cash she could make that reguster RING when she bought herself a little bling!

Now, DONT POST where you think it is. Stop in at this Waynesboro business, locate the Squatch and return it to the Shack.

Folks we have closed the doors a little early today due to significant shortages in product and the absence of a certain someone (with an amazing, sparkling personality with a passion for people and a craving for culinary greatness) sorry had to throw that in there. I have been struck down by what feels very much like the flu that has just about dimmed my light. It kind of feels like pumping gas right now, DOWN RIGHT PAINFUL. Due to this we will NOT be performing a Saturday Night Shift.

I heard the dream team did an excellent job with everything today, and I had no doubt they would. Thank you team for being AMAZING and keeping our customers fed and happy.

Keep those peepers open for a post regarding next week and just as important, have an AWESOME AMAZING weekend.

Shirley found a Squatch! Congrats Shirley for bringing this Little Big Boy back home! This one was located at our Piggly Wiggly here in Waynesboro. Shirley received $10 in Jack's Shack Deli and Dogs credit which she used promptly.
There are 2 Squatch still looking for their safe and humane return to the Shack with more Squatch ready to hit the hills of Wayne County.

Lets do a quick update on SOLD OUT items.

All Corned Beef SOLD OUT
Ham SOLD OUT (thanks to an order of 12 Jack Shacks first thing this morning) which set the pace for a piggy kind of day!

We still have the Tantalizing 5 Cheese Tortellini tossed in a Creamy Pesto with Snow Peas and topped with 4 Seasoned and Seared Jumbo Shrimp.

Folks we NEED TO TALK ABOUT TODAY! No, seriously.

It was AMAZING, PHENOMENAL, STUPENDOUS, OUTRAGEOUSLY AWESOME! Why?
Let me tell you why, I am so glad you asked by the way.

The Cool Collinwood Crowd was simply WONDERFUL today with several guests thanking us for putting Collinwood in rotation. That means something very special to us. It truly does.
Additionally a COOL Front hit right around mid day which made the day EVEN BETTER and our guests could tell something was tickling our tail feathers as we were DANCING AND SINGING and just having a blast.

No joke it is as if Mother Nature looked at her calendar today and was like "Oh I guess its Fall Ya'all!" It makes such a huge difference for us as we have been working in torturing heats since um I dont know, like the 4th of July. You all braved that heat right along with us, I mean sure after ordering you jumped in your cars with A C and waited until we called you back or brought it to you but you got in those HOT CARS to come and get some grub from us, US! Ugh, I could just hug you all right now and if I did, I wouldnt be sweating!
We are looking forward to spending the rest of an amazing week here at Homebase with a SOLID chance of a Saturday Night shift.

We cant wait to see you this week!

Is everyone ready to relax and talk about Tongue Tantalizing and Tummy Tempting Specials for the week? If your still reading this then the answer is YES!

We are presenting you with 2 new plays on the pasta this week.

1. Creamy Pesto Tempting Tortellini with Shrimp. A bed of 5 Cheese Tortellini ( thats 5 Cheeses in the Tortellini, not 5 pieces of pasta that would be weird) cooked and tossed in a Homemade Creamy Pesto sauce with Snow Peas and topped with 4 Jumbo Shrimp that have been Buttered, Seasoned and Seared then tossed in the same creamy Pesto sauce. The dish is finished with some Fresh squeezed Lemon Juice, Lemon Zest and a Shaved Parmesan, Romano and Asiago blend served with a piece of Garlic Toast for $14. The pasta is fresh and will be cooked to order with the sauce being built per order as well. This dish is GORGEOUS! EVERYTHING about it works. The Snow Peas provide a fresh, bright bite with some texture, the lemon lifts that Pesto Flavor and Creamy Sauce to keep the Dish from becoming too heavy and the Cheeses and Cream of course provide that Creamy Saltiness you want for your pasta. These will take a out 8 to 10 mins so if you are in a hurry to scurry place your order ahead and we will have it ready for you.

We will also have the Firey Fuscilli with FRESH Mozzerella. Perfectly cooked Fuscilli pasta tossed in a Homemade Arrabbiata Sauce that contians some garlic, onions, red pepper flakes for that spice, olive oil, fresh basil etc. with pieces of Fresh Mozzerella, topped with a Shaved Blend of Romano, Asiago and Parmesan and finished with a Fresh Tomato Bruschetta Salad! This is a meatless dish and has a Italian Boot Kind of Kick. So this dish is something I make for myself on a fairly regular basis because as simple as it sounds, its down right delicious and satisfying. The Fuscilli lets the sauce wrap all around it as it is a tightly twisted pasta noodle so it literally captures the flavors of the sauce oooph so well. The Fresh Creamy Mozz provides a little relief from that somewhat spicy Red Sauce. Served with a slice of Garlic Toast. $9

We kick off our week in Collinwood Tuesday with service between 11 and 3 and then back to Homebase for the remainder of the week.

Thank you for an EXCELLENT WEEK
ya'all. We will not be doing a dinner service tomorrow night as we are going to take a well needed break from the heat.

Speaking of breaks, I know Fall Break is quickly approaching and last year we saw a significant decline in business. With that being said, we will also be taking that week off. We will post a sign and remind ya'all frequently.

Now on to food for thought.....

Think Ooodles of Noodles next week with 2 new plays on pasta with a vegetarian option available as well. These 2 dishes have been simmering in my head for quite a while and I am excited to serve them to you. Aaaaah EXCITED, like I want to go shop right now excited. You get it! We will be kicking it off in Collinwood Tuesday and then Homebase the rest of the week.
