I think it’s time to go back to school. Ummm. Recently a family member and a friend asked me why I blocked them. I was confused. I checked just in case and there were no blocked people on my list. Then I see this. Hmmm, I am not the only one. So now I am fixing my blocked posts. I wondered where everybody had been! This is good to know. It's ridiculous to have over 300 friends and only 25 are allowed to see posts.
I ignored this post earlier because I didn’t think it worked. It WORKS!! I have a whole new news feed. I’m seeing posts from people I haven’t seen in years.
Here’s how to bypass the system FB now has in place that limits posts on your news feed. Their new algorithm chooses the same few people - about 25 - who will read your posts...
okay here goes....HELLO. To regain friends in your news feed and get rid of ads - Hold your finger anywhere in this post and click ′copy’. Go to your page where it says ‘What's on your mind?’ Tap your finger anywhere in the blank field. Click paste. This upgrades the system.

I wanted to take a minute and address some of the rumors spiraling around town about HomeTown Diner and the possibility of us closing our doors for good. Those rumors are completely FALSE! I am very pleased to announce that I hired an independent Fire & Safety Inspector that came today and did a very thorough in depth inspection of our facilities and we passed the inspection with flying colors. The notice on my door from the code enforcement officer states that we cannot re-open our doors until he has come in and done his own independent inspection of our facilities. I am very confident that we will be back up and running tomorrow for fish fry’s on Friday February 27th, 2026. The code officer did not specify a time in which he would be here to perform said inspection, therefore I do not have an opening time as of yet. The minute his inspection is complete I will happily turn those open signs on and welcome all of my customers back with open arms. We do apologize for the inconvenience I will be posting updates tomorrow as they develope. We look forward to getting back to serving our community. We have missed you all so much!
