For over 32 years she has spent her career in kitchens, leading teams, and pouring herself into the craft of great food. At John's Place, she brings that experience to the kitchen every single day, preparing John's recipes with the same care, precision, and pride as if they were her own.

And somehow, even when the kitchen gets hot, busy, and a little chaotic, she is still smiling through every single ticket.

That kind of dedication does not stay behind the kitchen doors. It shows up on every plate that comes out, and we hope you taste it in every single bite.

The final touch.

Fresh parmesan being showered over a plate of ravioli, or as we like to call them, tender little pasta pillows, finished in a rich marinara that hugs every bite.

That moment right there is what makes this dish so special. Simple, classic, and made with the kind of care that turns a plate of pasta into something memorable.

Game day just got a whole lot more interesting.

John's Place is proud to be Team Czechia for the Waxahachie Around the World Tour: Giving Cup, and we are kicking it off the right way. Join us tomorrow, Thursday, June 18th at 11am for our Watch Party as we cheer on the match with good food, good company, and four Czech inspired cocktails crafted by our incredibly talented mixologist, Jen.

Here is what she is pouring just for the occasion.
⚽️ The Beton, served tall and refreshing.
⚽️ The Becherovka Sour, finished with a silky egg white top.
⚽️ The Czech Mule, served up in a classic copper mug.
⚽️ The Bohemian Old Fashioned, bold, smooth, and built over a single oversized ice chunk.

Some burgers are made to be eaten. This one was made to be remembered.

Our Italian Hamburger starts with an 8oz brisket blend patty, topped with pesto aioli, provolone, pepperoncini, fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion, all served on fresh baked focaccia bread. It’s a little bit Italian, a little bit American, and entirely delicious.

Let's talk appetizers.

Because at John's Place, even thought the starters are a warm up they are something that sticks with you until the end of the meal.

The garlic bread that arrives warm and golden and disappears in minutes. The charcuterie board that makes the whole table go quiet for a moment. The meatballs that smell so good the person next to you leans in before they even take a bite.

And then there is the calamari. Two versions because one was never going to be enough. The Classic Fried Calamari, lightly fried and served with cocktail and tartar sauce. And the Sicilian Calamari, tossed in a spicy tomato sauce that brings just the right amount of heat to get the evening started.

Order a few. Pass them around. Let the table decide what comes next.
