🎉 The Corner Cupboard is OPEN again! ❤️

We've made a few changes! There are now signs reminding everyone to completely close and latch the door, and we've adjusted the latch itself to hopefully make it easier to use.

PLEASE help us keep the door shut so donations stay safe and dry!

We also received an incredibly generous donation yesterday that we're so thankful for! ❤️ Every donation helps us continue helping our community!

To say I'm angry is an understatement!

This is absolutely unacceptable!

3, THREE times in the last two weeks the shed door has been left open!

And this time it was during a rain storm!

The Corner Cupboard will be closed this week while I decide what I'm going to do.

I've really wanted this to be a positive, uplifting page and a blessing for anyone in need but I just feel like I've been taken advantage of causing me to complain due to others actions in hoping that it will change, which it hasn't.

I can't keep putting my heart, hard work and money into something that's just going to be ruined by people who can't respect what I'm doing.

I'll keep you all updated on the next steps I'm going to take.

But for right now, I need to take sometime for me and decide what those next steps are going to look like! 💔

Look at what was added to The Corner Cupboard! 💚🥫

Seeing our shelves stocked with so many different options is exactly what we hope for. Someone may come by today wondering how they’re going to put a meal together, and because of donations like this, they’ll have something to choose from.

Thank you to whoever donated all of these goodies! Your generosity is going right back into our community and onto the tables of local families. 🫶

This is neighbors helping neighbors, and I love seeing it. 💚

⚠️ COMMUNITY, PLEASE READ ⚠️

Please, please, PLEASE make sure the shed door is completely shut when you are finished visiting The Corner Cupboard.

When the door is left open, the essentials inside are exposed to the weather, bugs, and critters—and items that were donated to help families in our community can end up ruined.

I truly hate to even say this, but if the door continuing to be left open becomes an ongoing problem and donations keep getting ruined, I will have no choice but to close The Corner Cupboard for good. 💔

That is the LAST thing I want to do. This little pantry means so much to me and to the people who rely on it.

Please help me keep it open. 💚 Before you leave, SHUT THE DOOR. It only takes a few seconds.

💚 A QUICK DONATION REMINDER 💚

We are SO grateful for every single donation we receive for The Corner Cupboard! Every item donated helps us continue helping families in our community. 🥰

With that being said, if you're cleaning out your cupboards and donating items you no longer need, PLEASE check the expiration dates before dropping them off.

🚫 We cannot accept expired food.

We hate having to throw donations away, so please make sure all food items are in date and safe for someone else to use.

Thank you so much for continuing to support The Corner Cupboard and our community! ❤️
