We had a great time golfing Sunday in the Swinging For Sarah Golf Outing in support of NAMI. The weather was perfect, the swings were on, and great memories were made. Over $18,000 was raised, all to support local people and their mental health. A lot of hard work goes into planning this event, thanks to some of the kindest, hardworking people I get to call friends. Remember to support one another, give yourself grace, and know that there are always options, and good people who love you. You’re important, and this world needs you.

☀️ Good Morning Filling Station Friends! It FINALLY feels like Summer, and the market has some great finds already. We are so excited to dive into June Specials, and display beautiful local flowers on the tables.

Wow! It is so cool to see all of the awesome history laid out here. While we know about many of the building’s historic “quirks”, we LOVE to hear the stories from our customers about, “walking down for candy”, or, “my Dad was a mechanic” or “where is the moose head?”. 🤣 Even better, is the “remember when gas was $.25/gallon?!”

Thanks for the great work Friends of Wausau Historic Landmarks putting this together, and Peterson Kraemer Funeral Homes & Crematory for taking a chance on a little restaurant! Even more so, thank you and customers for all the amazing memories. Cheers to making more, one cracked egg and drop off coffee at a time! ❤️

Although Mother Nature didn’t quite give us a perfect day, everything else regarding our Mother’s Day Brunch went wonderful! This team put in long days of prep and planning to ensure we could pull off another successful buffet. They truly are the best people I could have to work with, and even surprised me with a corsage! Without them, providing the food and service we do would be impossible.

Thank you to all of our amazing patrons who were able to dine with us! We appreciate your continued support. Now, time to rest and recover. Details for our June Brunch and Father’s Day are coming this week!

🌷 May’s Special Salad - Lox! A fluffy bed of greens loaded up with fresh cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, Kalamata olives, goat cheese, red onion, croutons and Norwegian cold smoked salmon. Our house made lemon dill vinaigrette ties it all together.

P.S. We have ONE table open for Mother’s Day that can seat up to 4. Who is going to snag it? We are begging Mother Nature to bring us sunshine on Sunday! Although the temperature may not be what we were hoping for, our patio is situated in the beautiful warm morning sun… if she comes out. 🤞🏻☀️ We will be set up and ready to take walk-ins regardless!
