Guess we avoided it as long as we could. 🚧👷‍♂️🚜🕳️🪏 (for real though - construction season this summer has been rough. I was rerouted four different times just trying to get home last week. 😬)

‘Technically’ 2nd Ave is closed. But when I told the nice construction workers that was really tough on a girls’ business to have the road blocked on both sides, they offered to slide the barrier over a bit on the corner of Elm and 2nd Ave so any of our friends could make it through. They didn’t need to do that but it was kind of them to make adjustments for us. I've got bills to pay. ;)

We’re prepping for night market tonight! So many cookies, brownies, bars, jumbos, puppy chow, and I think we’ll do pre packed assorted minis too!

I was just trying to play where’s Waldo with my own $300 Walmart drop off. Because the photo and location they left it was definitely not at the shop… 😤🤔

It was found eventually - three businesses away. But in retrieving it, I realized just how suspicious I looked when carrying it back. 🤣🤣🤣

Cream puff day has arrived and last week yall sold us it before noon. So we’ve made more for today:

My children decided that a better use for my work computer would be a four way video game that requires four separate screens/devices in four separate places inside our house.

I, however, am at work with a laptop for the decade of the 2010s that doesn’t have enough memory to open my email…

Last week, at our anniversary party, I had the opportunity to bring in some of my very favorite people, my big brother, Jesse and my baby sister, Kate, to showcase their hand crafted basketry work (a skill they’ve inherited from our mother and her business Joanna's Collections 😉).

There was a little sneaky intention on my part to having them come sit in the hot sun for the afternoon - and that was because I’ve been wanting to offer classes at the shop for ages now.
