☕ A Coffee Shop Owner’s Day Off… Does That Even Exist?! 😂

It’s National Coffee Day, and while the doors at The Pickle Jar were closed today, the work definitely isn’t! We’re behind the scenes dialing in our espresso and getting creative with our October specialty drinks. 🍂☕

🐾 Friends & Neighbors Please Help Us Support the Humane Society of Marathon County! 🐾

MCHS is in need of donations, and we’re collecting items at The Pickle Jar! We have a donation box located in the shop, and we’ll make sure everything collected gets delivered to them!!

If you’re able to help, here are some of the items they need:

• Copy paper
• Non-clumping cat litter
• Dry adult dog food — Iams or Purina One preferred
• Dry adult cat food — Iams preferred
• Canned kitten food — pâté only, any brand
• KMR milk replacer
• Inflatable or plastic e-collars for after-surgery care — all sizes for cats and dogs
• Re*****on slip leashes
• Marth softwood pellet bedding
• Kennel scratch pads
• Contractor-size garbage bags — 55 gallon
• Laminating pouches — 5 mil
• Kitchen-size garbage bags
• Paper towels
• Manila folders — not hanging files
• Walmart or County Market gift cards to purchase produce for small animals, such as lettuce and carrots
• Newspapers — Daily Herald size
• Bleach

Of course you can always make a cash donation in our collection box too!

Every donation, big or small, helps provide care and comfort to animals in need. Thank you for supporting the Marathon County Humane Society and helping us make a difference in our community! 🐶🐱
