Join us this Friday at 8AM as we re-open The Cafe (formerly Smoking Chips) with your favorites and a few new items. We'll be serving breakfast, lunch, and supper, so stop by anytime throughout the day. We can't wait to see you there!

Friday, November 17th is our last dine in service. We will have an all you can eat breakfast buffet from 8-10:30 and all you can eat lunch buffet from 11-1pm. We will not be open for supper service. Hope to see you all Friday!

Smokin chips will permanently close for dine in service on Saturday, November, 18th in order to make a smooth transition to the new ownership. We are , however, still taking orders for our heat and eat smoked Turkeys, thanksgiving family dinners, Pies, and cheesecakes for pick up the week of Thanksgiving.

We also are again offering hot and ready thanksgiving dinners that we will be delivering thanksgiving morning in the Wausa area between 10am and 11am.
Meal will consist of:

Smoked boneless Turkey slices
Mashed potatoes and gravy
Stuffing
Green beans
Dinner roll
And a slice of pumpkin or pecan pie

Will be taking smoked Turkey and heat and eat thanksgiving family dinner orders through Saturday, November 18th and individual thanksgiving dinner orders through Tuesday, November 21st.

Yes the rumors are true…well most of them. We have recieved and excepted an offer to sell the cafe. We will continue to operate our normal hours through November 17th. On November 18th the cafe will be shut down to ensure a smooth transition between us and the new owners. The expected reopening date under new ownership is December 1st (subject to change.) it will reopen under a new name and new theme.
We will still be offering our thanksgiving smoked turkeys, desserts, and full meals this year (see separate post.)
With this move, Smokin’ Chip’s will be able to continue and expand our catering and food trailer businesses. Along with our prepackaged smoked meats and pizzas. We have already secured equipment and a new location although it will take time to get the commercial kitchen up and running.
We want to thank everyone for all the support you have shown us these last three years and hope you continue to show the same support to the new ownership! More details to come!
