🚨 We've Been Tossing Around Some New Ideas. Lettuce Explain... 🚨

We've been working hard in the kitchen and let's just say, some of our latest ideas have proven to be worth the truffle...and while we'd love to tell you all about them, donut ask. Seriously.

What we can tell you is that it's kind of a big dill. And somewhere in the middle of all the testing, a few ideas managed to sandwich themselves onto the menu.

We'll start sharing the details this weekend because, fry as we might, we're terrible at keeping good secrets.

As most of you know, my brother Brennan founded Journey to the Light Ministries with a heart for helping people who were struggling silently, especially veterans, law enforcement and those searching for hope, connection, and purpose.

After losing Brennan, I stepped into the role of President to continue the mission he cared so deeply about. Watching this ministry continue to grow and impact lives over the past few years has meant more to me than I can fully put into words.

This year, we are incredibly excited to be preparing for our third H.O.P.E. Retreat, providing a free retreat experience for Wisconsin veterans and service members focused on healing, wellness, support, and community.

As we prepare for H.O.P.E. Retreat 2026, we are currently looking for sponsors and community partners to help make this experience possible.

Today, before the burgers hit the grill, the fireworks light the sky, and the sounds of laughter in the backyard, may we stop long enough to remember what Memorial Day is really about!
It is for the names carved into stone. For boots that stopped walking. For futures that were handed over so ours could keep going and realizing your ordinary life was once somebody’s sacrifice.
Today may we remember and honor those who left home one ordinary morning and never came back.
We honor those who gave up everything for our Freedom! 🇺🇸

🍷✨ The Waupun Wine Walk is this Friday!

We’ll be serving two house-made sangrias 🍓🍊 along with a refreshing sangria mocktail for anyone wanting all the flavor without the alcohol.

Our café will be open extended hours from 7am to 9pm, and the bar will be open from 5pm to 9pm during the Wine Walk 🍷 The kitchen will be open late as well, so you can grab dinner, a snack, coffee, or cocktails while you’re downtown.

We’re also excited to welcome Tara of this151bar.experience!
She’ll be pouring wine, chatting with guests, and sharing a small collection of her clean beauty bars rooted in simple ritual and intentional care 🌿
