We had an incredible day for our first ever Cheese Curd Fest!

Beautiful weather, great music, delicious food and lots of smiling faces. It was wonderful seeing families enjoying the petting zoo, curd toss, food and making memories at the creamery.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, and helped make the day such a success.

Think you can build a masterpiece out of cheese curds? Join our Cheese Curd Sculpture Contest at Cheese Curd Fest!

Participants will have from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Saturday to create their masterpiece before the festival begins. Your creations will be displayed during the fest and visitors will vote for their favorite. Our winner will be crowned at the end of the day and win some great prizes.

We'll provide:
✅ Cheese curds
✅ Toothpicks
✅ A 13x9 tray to build on

Want to add extra flair? Feel free to bring any additional materials you'd like to use in your creation!

Individuals and groups are welcome to participate.

Perfectly deep fried curds covered with cinnamon sugar and vanilla icing 😍 the perfect sweet & salty combo. Our deep fryer professionals will also be cooking up all our flavored battered curds; Jalapeño Cayenne, Smokey, Pickle & Mango Habanero. AND your favorite plain deep fried curds will be available at Boyd’s Food Truck. What flavor are you getting?! 🧀

🐄 June Dairy Month Meet the Girls 🐄

Next up is Great 🤎

Great is a 9 year old Jersey cow, who joined our herd when she was 2 years old. Over the years she has become an important part of the herd and her legacy is growing right alongside her.

She has had three heifer calves over the years, and two of them, Grape & Gigi, are now part of the milking herd. It’s always fun to see them lined up next to each other in the barn!

Like many Jerseys, Great may be smaller than most of the Holsteins, but don’t let her size fool you… she’s got a BIG personality. She’s bossy, in charge and isn’t afraid to let the other girls know exactly where she stands.

Whether she’s keeping the herd in line or passing on her good genetics to the next generation, Great has earned her name.

🐄 Time to meet another one of the ladies in our herd!

Say hello to Claudia 🖤🤍

At 12 years old, Claudia has earned the title of the oldest cow on the farm. Currently in her 9th lactation, she is a seasoned pro and expecting another calf in December.

Claudia got her name from a random reality tv show star who was always sneaking out of the house and keeping everyone on their toes. Thankfully, our Claudia didn’t get that trait! 😆 Her namesake was always on the move, but Claudia is content to stay home.

Unlike Moo, who can’t wait to get in the milk barn, Claudia likes to take her time and is usually one of the last cows to be milked. After 12 years on the farm, we figure she’s earned the right to move at her own pace.

We’re grateful for cows like Claudia who continue to be a special part of our herd year after year. ❤️
