John's Drive-In John's Drive-In aka John's Rootb**r has been around since 1937, still the original building. We are open year round. In 1937 the building originated as an A&W.
(342)

It has had 4 different locations. In 1972 is when A&W pulled the franchise and became John's. We still continue the tradition of making our own b**r in the basement with the same recipe since 1937. John Meehean has had the business now since 1991. We see about 60,000 visitors a year, most being regulars, and it's best when it's 85 and sunny. From the months of Sept-April we serve our homemade chili and fish frys everyday. You can also enjoy your rootb**r in a chilled mug year round.
