Hello everyone! We will be back open tomorrow September 15th normal hours! My appointment with Athens Retina Center went as follows this morning! I received a shot in my eye to help stabilize the eye for the next 3 weeks and to make sure there is no more hemorrhaging. The Dr wants to wait to see with the shot if the vision could possibly improve on its own. If not then he will proceed with surgery. Short term…still very little vision…long term hopefully vision can be restored! I Am so grateful I have great vision in my left eye! Physically I am fine…emotionally this has been a roller coaster and life changing! I am blessed to have so many people walking this journey with me. The calls, visits, texts, thoughts & prayers have been beyond belief! I plan to be back at work some and take off some…I will do what is in God’s plans. Monica will keep it going either way!
