Our cake fundraiser for MOAS Pets has come to a close! I think half of North Ga has been eating cake this weekend! 🤣 What a truly rewarding, loving & exhausting journey this was…but in the end it was so worth it! Along the way I have met some of the most amazing & caring people from Madison, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Clarke, Jackson & Barrow Counties! We had donations from people as far away as the West Coast, kids donating their allowances and so on! So many contributors from all the counties! I think sometimes we forget that MOAS is one shelter servicing two counties! It’s hard to imagine the work load…the animals coming in are never ending! To see all these communities pull together and support this cause has been nothing short of amazing! I would like give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who purchased a cake/cakes and sent in donations! You will never know how much this means.🙏❤️ I would also like to thank some of the best people who I am blessed to have in my life that helped make this happen! Monica Vining, Amy Coile, Laura Wiedeman, Debbie Barker, Sherry Knight, Joe & Ronda Lockman, Deece Whaley, Rylee Coile, Mike Link, Buzz & Patti Wheeless & Krimson Black! Y’all are truly amazing! We sold 200 cakes! Y’all that is alot of cakes! We had moments of exhaustion, crying, stressed out & laughing til we couldn’t breath but we never lost sight of our goal! The final amount raised is $6,522.00! Thank you all again & God Bless you and God Bless MOAS! 🙏❤️😊 Everyone please share this for us because we have been asked so many times how much was raised when cakes were being picked up or dropped off…and at that time we didn’t have an amount yet!
