Lulu's Cafe Now closed permanently, but once a Watertown icon. Welcome to Lulu's! We offer a variety of affordable and delicious dishes and snacks for dining in or take out.

We are a small town, community-oriented, cafe, art gallery, and live music venue where folks of all walks of life are welcome! Several local artists have work for sale on display here, and we are always happy to have more. We also feature live music every Saturday night, and occasionally Fridays. First Saturday of each month is our Birthday Bash open mic night, when we celebrate everybody whose bi

rthday falls in that month, and everybody gets free cake! The open mic runs from 7-10pm and is open to anybody who wants to join in and play, sing, or read whatever they like, regardless of age, or skill level. We take great pride in being a place where folks feel comfortable getting on stage for the first time, as well as where some of the most talented pros can come and have just as much fun as the audience. Oh, and did I mention the cake? Second Saturday of each month, 7-10pm is our Writer's night open mic, hosted by local singer/songwriter Robb Cline. It is a chance for musicians to show off or try out their own original material in a friendly room, without the pressures found in big city events. Other than that, it is much like Birthday night, except without the cake. Third Saturday (starting in April) is our Bluegrass Jam, also 7-10pm, hosted by Melody and David Johnson. Like to pick some 'grass? or maybe just sit and listen? C'mon down! Fourth and fifth Saturdays, and the occasional Friday, we feature a wide variety of bands, singer/songwriters, and other musicians, with a focus on original material. Let us know if you would like to book a show, but keep in mind we are usually booked several months out. Also, as we are a small cafe in a small town, we don't charge a cover, so we can't pay outright, but we do set out a tip jar and encourage the audience to contribute and check out your merch. Also, we will feed you dinner :)
If you like live music, c'mon out and see some of the best you will find, and please help make it worth the musicians' time and effort by tipping generously and/or buying a CD, etc. And if you just wanna stop in for a cup of coffee or a friendly conversation, that is fine too!

There is one other person who I am grateful to and want to recognize. This man Joshua Blakley spent some seriously hard and long work hours in with me during Dad's recovery. He was my light in the dark. If you see him tell him he was appreciated more than he will ever know.

Lulu's friends,fans, and family you have made the last seven and a half years at Lulu's amazing! Thank you for the love and support you have shown our business and our family. We have been blessed with so many wonderful memories and beautiful people that we have come to love. It has been hard to find the words to tell you all that March 31st will be our last day at Lulu's. We will be celebrating the last seven years at Lulu's with music and fellowship on the weekends during the month of March. We are kicking off LULU'S MARCH MUSIC MADNESS, CLOSE OUT EXTRAVAGANZA with an old favorite. The March Birthday open mic will start up at 7mp tomorrow night the 2nd. Yes there will be cake! It's Dad's mouth so come on out and sing him a song. Hope to see all of your wonderful smiles. Peace, love and music everyone!
