We're one week out from The Shire Harvest Party! Sunday, October 18th, 5PM start. Hors d'oeuvres, hot food, themed snacks & desserts served from 5-8PM, but the fun will go as long as the party atmosphere demands!

Your ticket gets you unlimited access to multiple rounds of locally sourced, seasonal, and DELICIOUS dishes, locally roasted coffee, mulled c***r & themed beverages, all served by our charming staff. Dietary restrictions are no problem - all food will be labeled and our staff is incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating.

If you're a regular who hasn't grabbed tickets yet, or you've been interested in trying The Local based on our online reviews or our multi-year award-winning cocktails and food - this event is the perfect time to sample all we have to offer. And though most alcohol is served a la carte, there will be rounds of celebratory tipple passed around at no extra charge - PLUS, many adult beverages will be at special party prices.

Treat yourself, and come relax and indulge in the most jovial and cozy atmosphere in Litchfield county.

Please call 959-209-4779 with any questions, or to reserve your place, or visit our online ordering portal @ thelocal63.com and scroll down to the event tickets.

The Oktoberfest shenanigans are gonna start around 6PM - and we're ready to party!

Try the b**r marionette, hoist a stein till your arms are wobbly, drink delicious Counterweight b**rs, grab some free merch, and eat German specials like Bratwurst in B**r Gravy with Roasted Potatoes and Sauerkraut!

Prost!

THIS FRIDAY starting at 6:30PM - Counterweight and The Local Sixty-Three are throwing a little Oktoberfest Takeover!

We'll have four killer Counterweight b**rs on draft, merch giveaways, b**r samples, a GORGEOUS German specials menu that will run all weekend, and at least one stein-hoist (see photos for last year's proper hoist AND the afterhours version with the late-night hooligans).

No ticket needed, but we are accepting reservations as usual! Full menu available all day as well. Come party!

Don't let the rain keep you from our juicy, delicious Pork Belly Roulade.

From the melt-in-your-mouth texture of the pork, to the crisp of the ginger-pickled celery, watermelon radish & greens, and the ZING of balsamic glaze - this dish just hits.

We're open through this whole storm (keeping fingers crossed about the electricity here on main street!)

It's OKTOBERFEST SEASON - and while Lauren had a blast at Counterweight this weekend, we get to have our own Counterweight Oktoberfest party next month!

Friday, October 9th - starting at 6:30 - our rep Glenn (the fellow in the video at the end of the photos) will be at The Local slinging free merch, b**r samples, and running a stien-hoisting competition!

Jason has cooked up a special German menu for the weekend, and there will be plenty of b**r and sausage to go around. No tickets needed, but make a reservation if you'd like!
