Been a while but thought I would share tonight’s experience with you guys. We tried the voo doo wings tonight. Tricia had teriyaki, one of the kids had sweet heat. No heat at all. The other had a chicken sandwich. I had the voodoo flavor. The food was really good and prices were okay. Will visit again.

Went to Arbys Wednesday night after church and they still have their dinning room closed. We left and went to mcDonalds. It was McDonads so you know what the food taste like. Disappointed about the wait time. Took forever to get it.

People have started visiting this page so I will share more. Cracker Barrel on Cox creek parkway Wednesday night. There was 8 of us and the service was good. The food I ate was really delicious. I had the southern friend turkeys and was really pleasantly surprised. Great flavor and spice. It was not my first choice. I ordered the Southern fried chicken but was told they were out. My grand daughter loves the chicken pot pie and it is good but I really like KFCs better. She usually has to order something else because they are out. Over all the service was good and the food was good. Could be improved a little but during this Covid it was good

Waffle House on Florence Boulevard. Went there Last night 8/7 after church. we had a group of four ladies, my wife, myself and twin grand babies. They were not very crowded I think there was may be 3 people there and a couple more came in and left. We ordered breakfast and my wife had her hear set on waffles. They didn't have any waffles. Once it is mixed up it has to sit for 24 hours. She told us the earliest she could use the mix was 4 hours. Still needed 45 minutes before sit before it would be ready. Strike 1. We went ahead and ordered breakfast. Took almost 45 minutes to get our food. While I am preparing my eggs to eat my grand baby spills her lemonade into my lap, plate and all over the table. The waitress takes my plate and said she would have it remade. I appreciate that but another almost 45 before I get my food. Everyone else has finished and is ready to leave and I am still waiting on my plate. My food arrives and it is good food, but an hour and a half later we finally leave. This is the first time I have ever had a really bad experience at any waffle house, but this visit was terrible.

Applebee’s-Last night my wife and daughter wanted to go eat. They gave me 3 choices. Cracker Barrel, Chili’s, or Applebee’s. I chose Applebee’s. 4 adults and 3 children. We ordered appetizers and waited while the waitresses played with a baby. My son in law asked for straws and finally received it when the meal arrived but he had to ask again. We received our appetizers 5 minutes before our meal arrived. I ordered ribs as did my daughter and my wife and son in law ordered a hamburger. My wife’s hamburger was raw inside. I don’t mean pink. It was raw. I like a medium hamburger but this had not been cooked in the middle. My ribs came and the sauce was great but my ribs were dry. It was like they were cooked done and left in oven for a while to keep them warm. The meat was so dried out. I wasn’t going to worry about it because I could eat them with the sauce but my daughter mentioned how dry hers was so I figured it was worth mentioning. We arrived about 7:30 so it wasn’t really late. Don’t know what happened but our visit this time was a dud.

Longhorn Steakhouse. My wife wanted stark and we had a gift card so it stood to reason we would go there. The waitress was great the food was okay but, my wife ordered the queso dip. She liked it and I thought it was okay. Had too much cilantro for me. The problem came when she pulled a hair out of it. Since she and I neither have hair this presented a problem. We didn’t make a big scene just called the waitress over and she was very polite and apologized several times. We expected the manager to come out and at the least apologize instead she sent out a free desert or appetizer. Yeah like we want to try that again. She never came out speak to us at all. Said she was cooking and short handed. Made me wonder if maybe it was her hair. Any way not a good experience. They took the dip off the bill and free appetizer or desert. Not sure we will use it. Probably go to Olive Garden next time. laugh out loud.

Some folks have started viewing the page again so thought I would share our trip to Red Lobster. One of my wife’s favorite places. The have tacos. Yes you heard that right tacos. I was skeptical but I am never one to back down from a meal once. I ordered the three lobster tacos. I for one loved them. I will definitely order them again. I just wish they had a sampler meal with one of each of the tacos. Then I could have tried them all at once. Now I will have to try the other 2 plates another time. But I did love them. Let me know if you tried them and if you liked them

My wife is in Atlanta for another treatment so me and the grand babies went to eat. I was hoping for something simple but they wanted Olive Garden. Well they can pretty much talk me into anything. I don’t care for pasta but found a scallop and shrimp Alfredo I thought I might eat. It was good and the waitress was very good. The girls loved the bread sticks. It was a good experience. My wife will probably kill me when she finds out but the girls were happy.

Captain D’s they have a healthier choice on their menu and I found I really liked it. The lemon pepper white and blackened tilapia are both really good. Not really impressed with their rewards program but maybe I am missing something. I only have a few days before they expire and I don’t eat there that often. They are not cheap. Not as expensive as red lobster but they are high for fast food
