🎨🐝 CAMP CREATE at Salt + Honey 🐝🎨

Got a future artist at home?

✨ Who is it for?
Kids ages 8–13 who love creating, whether they’re constantly drawing at home or just looking to try something new.

✨ What will they do?
This isn’t a craft camp—it’s a true Young Artists Camp!

Over 3 days, campers will learn:
🎨 Color Theory
✏️ Drawing Fundamentals
🖌️ Elements of Art
📐 Principles of Design
🌟 Composition & Perspective
🖐️ Texture & Form

We’ll explore a variety of mediums including:
• Painting
• Drawing
• Printmaking
• Sculpture
• Mixed Media

Each day includes 2–3 guided lessons and projects designed to build artistic skills while encouraging creativity and self-expression.

✨ Will they bring artwork home?
Absolutely! Campers will complete multiple projects throughout the week and work toward a larger final piece that showcases what they’ve learned.

✨ Do they need experience?
Not at all! Beginners are welcome, and more experienced young artists will have opportunities to expand their skills and challenge themselves.

✨ What’s included?
✔️ All art supplies

✔️ Lunch each day
✔️ Lots of creativity, mess-making, and fun

✨ What should they bring?
Just themselves! We recommend clothes that can handle a little paint and creativity.

Today’s crew spotlight is one of our favorite people on the planet- Ramone! (Or Monie, if you know him)

Chances are, if you’ve ever absolutely loved something you’ve eaten at S+H, it’s largely due to Ramone. He not only has a wealth of cooking experience and loads of creativity, but he’s one of the kindest and most patient people around. He never seems to mind taking a little extra time to make sure our staff is up to speed, and that they feel important and able.

Salt+Honey wouldn’t be what it is today without Ramone, and we’re SO lucky to have him!
