This stand has given us so many opportunities in the past decade. One of the highlights was meeting Monique and her husband Wesly on a hot August Saturday back in 2018.

After they bought our drink, we chatted for a while. They asked us where they can find delicious Thai food, of course we said, “our house!” They came over for dinner, and we went to visit them in Miami!

They hosted us in their home and helped us celebrate Tasnim’s birthday one year. It was such an amazing trip! Traveling to beautiful places to meet kind people is one of our favorite things to do in life.

Mo is an accomplished investigative journalist, she spent her entire career bringing light to important issues like family reunification and prisoner rights. Wes is a humble and hardworking police officer serving and protecting their community. These are people that believe in community service, honesty, and kindness.

When you meet sincere kindred spirits, you hold onto them. We are so blessed to remain good friends.

Unfortunately, this year has been a difficult year for many. Mo lost her job and lost her insurance in the middle of a high risk complicated pregnancy. Asking for help is difficult, but it is what community is for, sharing. Mo and Wes have given so much to their community.

Mo’s former coworker is organizing a fundraiser to cover some living costs.

Mario and Hillary have been working with us for a long time, our most senior teammates. They make our work so fun! Hillary is cheerful, friendly with everyone, and can pour faster than any of us! Mario makes us laugh all day long, he’s thoughtful about every aspect of the business, and makes our work lighter by being dependable. They have seen us go through our best and worst years, we appreciate their hard work and genuine personalities. We’ve been lucky to have so many wonderful people working with us over the ten seasons. Thank you!
