Alta Strada is a pasta joint that brings soulful, Italian classics—homemade bolognese, mozzarella and chicken parm to name a few—to your neighborhood. We know that authenticity matters, and our flavors are straight from Nonna's kitchen. Join us for daily happy hour, where locals enjoy a thoughtful wine menu and seasonal Italian recipes. Alta Strada first opened in Wellesley, Massachusetts, in 2007

. With a lifetime of cooking and a true love for Italian food, Chef Michael called it his dream restaurant.

11 years later, Alta Strada has expanded to three more locations in DC, Connecticut and Northern Virginia.​ Each of our restaurants takes reservations, but we’ll always find a spot for you and your family.
