NEW Neighborhood Table Talk , 11/17: Social Media & Young People, by CUA Professor Brendan Rich
Please join us for the inaugural event of our new Neighborhood Table Talk series:
"Social Media & Young People: Risks and Rewards"
An illustrated talk and discussion by
Dr Brendan Rich, Professor and Chair of Psychology, The Catholic University of America.
Summary:
Our kids are on social media. All the time. This illustrated talk will discuss the problems this causes in mood, self-confidence, and relationships. Further, we will also discuss how social media can be a source of good and how we can help our children be educated consumers.
When: Monday, November 17, 2025, 6:00-7:00 PM
Where: Menomale Pizzeria, 2711 12th St NE, Washington, D.C.

The Neighborhood Table Talk series is a new collaboration between Catholic University’s College of Arts & Sciences and Brookland community leaders and businesses to bring together the university community and scholars and our neighbors in the Brookland community through illustrated talks and discussions on exciting topics held at Brookland restaurants and locations.
