KYOJIN Sushi Opening winter 2023 in Cady’s Alley Washington, DC

Join us at KYOJIN on October 22 for Umi No Shūkakusai (Ocean Harvest), an autumn harvest celebration of craftsmanship and abundance honoring the ocean’s finest ingredients through the art of tuna cutting, caviar and sake. The evening will center around a live bluefin tuna carving by Chef Saran “Peter” Kannasute.

Presented in collaboration with Merolin Caviar and IWA Premium Sake, the evening will feature an extensive chef-curated menu with passed bites, dishes highlighting the freshly carved bluefin tuna, and specialty selections featuring Merolin Caviar. Live music will accompany the evening. This is a standing cocktail and tasting reception, allowing guests to move freely throughout the space. Seating will be available for those who prefer to sit. Guests will be welcomed beginning at 5:30 PM.

Ticket Information: Tickets are $130 per person. Tax, gratuity and service fee will be applied at checkout.
Please Note: Beverages are not included with ticket purchase. KYOJIN’s beverage menu will be available à la carte, along with an exclusive caviar cocktail created for the event. We are unable to accommodate allergies, substitutions, or modifications.

KYOJIN × Casa Kantuta 🇯🇵 🇧🇴

To close out Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re coming together October 18 & 19 for a two-day cocktail pop-up celebrating Bolivian and Japanese influences through food and drink.

Founded by siblings Juan and Carla Sanchez, Casa Kantuta brings Bolivian culture to life through cocktails, music, art and community. The collaboration was inspired by Carla’s childhood friendship with her best friend of Japanese descent, bringing a personal connection to a celebration of heritage, cultural exchange and the connections that shape us.

Your $25 reservation includes one cocktail of your choice from Casa Kantuta’s selection, including a special KYOJIN × Casa Kantuta collaboration cocktail, plus one Bolivian salteña. Additional items will be available à la carte.
