Wuttup, DC! is proud to announce DC’s very first NFT auction by local artists you know and follow: , , , , , , , and yours truly, . Each artist will have a limited supply of one-of-a-kind crypto artworks minted as ERC-20 tokens on the Ethereum blockchain, the gold standard for NFTs. Further details on the auction and how to participate will be announced Saturday, May 1st
These artists have been grinding this out for weeks, preparing a digital collaboration intended to bring ownership of cryptographic assets into your hands, but more importantly to bring awareness to our community of the digital revolution happening right before our very eyes. Leaps in technology like blockchain and cryptocurrency should create opportunities for everyone, yet it is rapidly leaving behind marginalized communities, so we have taken it upon ourselves to lead, rather than to wait and see. Very blessed to see these incredible young leaders, activists and artists taking the space they deserve.

As Women’s Month continues, we celebrate and continue to thank and uplift all women in our lives! In conjunction with the Women’s Market next weekend , the 9 Bars popup cart is honored to have our never invited muralist, installing their newest piece in our space to be unveiled during the Women’s Market on March 26th and 27th. Join us as we interview on how they celebrate the women in their life, and how they use their voice and talents with paint to uplift the voices of our community.
