First and foremost I want to say thank you to anyone that has supported me and my business. This is a long post if you choose to read 💙
I never got to tell y’all why I went ghost. After announcing my pregnancy things change drastically. Early on in my pregnancy I found out I had high blood pressure . Boom one thing to add to my worries, then at 20 weeks I found out I had a complete placenta previa and I had no choice but to have a C- section and it would be scheduled before 40 weeks. Again something to worry about.
So a few weeks goes by as normal and I wake up the morning of March 26th to a puddle of blood. Goes to ER of course, because I have a complete placenta previa bleeds can occur. I’m discharged and then April 1 st again wake up in a puddle of blood . In 6 days I had two major bleeds, and this time the doctor said if I was to have another one they had no choice but to do an emergency c- section. I asked to be discharged to go to see my OBGYN since I already had an appointment scheduled with her on the 3rd. Goes to my appointment and she told me you know you not going home right , go up to L&D and you’ll be there until it’s time to deliver him.
I had a meltdown, cried to my mom about how I ever imagined my first and only time be pregnant will be this way . After wrapping my mind around having to say in the hospital for the next 2-3 months. I got myself settle in and then boom yet again another bleed come 3 days later . So on April 6th about 8:45pm I was rushed into emergency C- section to have my son.
To my surprise when I wake up of course they had to put me to sleep because it was emergency. So when I woke up , I too was in ICU while my son was in NICU 🤯. Not only did I wake up to not being able to see my son until three days later but I had a Ostomy bag which I would have to wear for 6 months .
This story is getting long but one day I’ll do a live to go into further. But this is essentially why I have been gone for a while. I’m back now 🥰
